You should act fast, I believe they are going out of business. Word on the street is that they can’t find a buyer. Though people are trying the crowdsourcing approach: http://www.buyabeercompany.com/. Become a partial owner of PBR!
Ha.. I was just going to post an article about them being for sale. Didn’t know they were going this route.

I wonder if you’ll own all those brands…Ballantine, Blatz, Carling Black Label, Lone Star, Lucky Lager, Falstaff, National Bohemian, Old Milwaukee, Olympia, Primo, Rainier, Schlitz, Schaefer, Schmidt, Stag, Stroh’s and Pabst.
Rainier!
I wonder what the asking price is. Really all those beers just belong in a museum somewhere :P Who knew after all these years PBR was non-profit.
$300 million, I think. Schlitz alone is worth that.

This blog will be devoted to promoting craft beer, understanding all aspects of beer, and even how to brew your own. Please feel free to use the contact page, to send us an email, or use the comments to shed some light on our skewed perspective. Thanks for visiting.
